A) EIGHTH DAY: Arrival to Cusco
We will continued to Cuzco city, 394 Km from Puno, in around
six hours. This city is the principal in the program because of its famous
incaic and colonial remains, you can reach it by train, air and road.
We begin with a city tour in Cusco city, initiating with The
Plaza de Armas (with churches and typical porches). It correspondes more or less
to the Inca square called Quishuarcancha dedicated to the god Viracocha, now
occupied by the Cathedral and Church of del Triunfo, as well as Condorcancha
where Pacahacutec inca probably lived.
We can visit the churches of the Comapa��a, La Merced and Santo
Domingo.
B) NINETH DAY: Arrival to Machu Picchu
Travel to Machupicchu ruins by train, from Santa Ana station,
(its departure is at 6:00am and arrives to Aguas Calientes( train station of
Macchu Picchu, at 10:00) The monument tour is about 4 hours and the return to
Cusco from Aguas Calientes station is about 8 o�clock in the night.
C) TENTH DAY: Sacsayhuaman and the Sacred Valley of the
Inkas
We initiate visiting Sacsayhuaman ruins, situated at 3 km.of
the Cusco city, is an impressive magalithic construction formed by three
succesive walls of inmense stones.
After we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, where we
find important archeological megalithic Inkas monuments in Pisac and
Ollantaytambo towns. This valley is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the
Urubamba river use for rafting.
