1st day: Lima

Includes a city tour in Lima city, the capital of Peru where we find 5 centuries of history.The city was founded in 1535 by the spanish Francisco Pizarro. The city is surrounded by the Rimac river, it has nearly 10 millions inhabitants, with a warm temperature all year. In summer (january, february and march) is hot,so you can go to the beaches near the city.

Cathedral

 The visit includes the Plaza de Armas, fomerly created by Francisco Pizarro, was the center of colonial Lima where we find the centers of political, religious and commercial activity power:

  • The Palace of the President of the Republic, or Palace of Government, occupies the site of the former Palace of the Viceroys.
  • The Cathedral, site occupied by the old Church founded by Pizarro and next to it the Archbishop`s Palace.
  • The Municipal council known before as the old Cabildo.
  • The Merchant street( Calle de Mercaderes).
  • San Francisco convent
  • Torre Tagle House.
  • National Museum of Anthropology and Archeology, in Plaza Bolivar Pueblo Libre, this museum, rich in variety (85,000 complete huacos), is housed in an ancient building, Outsanding among its many exhibits are the remarkable Paracas fabrics in the Nazca section.
